Don’t Just Stand There was Patty’s debut album, and her only album to chart. Patty recorded and released the album at the urging of her managers, who wanted to capitalize on her teen stardom as the lead on The Patty Duke Show. The title track, “Don’t Just Stand There”, was her debut single; it peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also includes the single “Say Something Funny”, which peaked at number 22.
