A social media personality, influencer, and rapper, Larray is known for his comedic videos, video game posts, and LGBTQ+-oriented content. He gained viral fame with his satirical 2018 rap song "First Place." Born Larri Merritt in 1998, Larray grew up in Oakland, California, where he began sharing humorous short-form videos about life on Vine. From there, he expanded into other social media platforms, including setting up his own YouTube channel. He gained a following for his candid, LGBTQ+ point-of-view, as well as for his comedic video game posts involving Roblox and Fortnite. In 2018, he released the rap song "First Place," which went viral and significantly increased his fan base. Another song, "Latina," arrived in 2020.
