Jeremiah Justin Simms (July 24, 2003 — May 5, 2025), professionally known as wifiskeleton, was an American recording artist, producer, and guitarist who talked on subjects such as love, heartbreak, depression, suicide, murder and more morbid topics alongside his collective, ​gothangelz. In 2017, wifiskeleton was a YouTuber who originally went by the name of Cyrus, then had different artist personas, going by fuxkcy, MOODY 💘, and secretsaturdays. He used to be a part of the collective sanriocult, now known as CONTRAGANG. wifiskeleton was also commonly known for his side projects *67 and “i’m gone” which were his main artist personas in 2021-2023 featuring bit-crushed styled songs, which was a common style of music in his old collective #GREED He used imagery of ‘90s – early 2010s cartoons, clip art of emojis, and 3D skeleton PNGs in his artwork. A signature text-to-speech tag pioneered by wifiskeleton appeared in most of his songs — of which are self-deprecating such as “You are so goddamn pathetic,” “You creepy loser,” and “You are a creep and a weirdo” — phrases he claimed were used against him during his years in school. On the contrary, more general tags used in his songs consist of “gothangelz,” “Better than Nirvana,” and “Totally better than Nirvana.” He used to delete a lot of his songs; which made some of them harder to come by than others. However, in the third quarter of 2024, his team and he made it a mission to start re-uploading all his private tracks dating back to 2022 under the moniker “skeleton archive” on streaming platforms. Unfortunately, in the afternoon hours of May 5, 2025, wifiskeleton passed away in Miami, Florida, due to a drug overdose after ingesting a concoction of lean and Xanax.
