A Song of You peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1970, making it Miguel Rios‘ only song to date to reach the Top 40. It also topped Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart for 2 weeks. Internationally, the song topped the charts in Canada, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. The song heavily borrows from the final movement of Beethoven’s “Ninth Symphony.*
