"Spend the Night in Love" is a 1980 song by the Four Seasons. It was written by Lenny Goldsmith, Bob Gaudio and Judy Parker and produced by Gaudio and longtime Seasons collaborator Charles Calello. The song was the lone single from their album Reunited. The single version is a studio cut; the version on the album, like the remainder of the album, was recorded live on tour. The song reached number 91 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In South Africa, the song became a major hit, where it peaked at number four.[4] It was the group's only charting single during the 1980s.
Doesn't really matter how you do it Little darling, there ain't nothing to it All you really need to do is do it Spend the night in love You could spend the morning hesitating Every afternoon negotiating Oh, my little darling, while you're waiting Spend the night in love Love in motion There's no turning back The wheels are moving And they're on the track See through your window A soft, burning light Move out tomorrow But it's all mine tonight Doesn't really matter how you do it Little darling, there ain't nothing to it All you really need to do is do it Spend the night in love We could pass the time in conversation Fantasy and sweet anticipation If you like a little variation Spend the night in love Love in motion There's no turning back The wheels are moving And they're on the track See through your window A soft, burning light Move out tomorrow But it's all mine tonight Spend the night in love Spend the night in love Spend the night in love Spend the night in love Little darling, there ain't nothing to it All you really need to do is do it Spend the night in love Spend the night in love Spend the night in love Spend the night Spend the night in love
