Doja Cat has long cited Nicki Minaj as a major inspiration on her sound and style. During this pop-trap song she pays tribute to the Queens rapper. The most hip-hop oriented track on Planet Her, Doja inhabits Minaj's vocal inflection and rapid fire flow, particularly in the second verse. She delivers a direct shout-out to her hero at the end of the song when she interpolates the lyric "got that big rocket launcher" from Minaj's 2010 debut solo single "Massive Attack." Lyrically, the song is right up Minaj's alley, too. It finds Doja Cat employing hip-hop braggadocio as she flexes about her luxurious lifestyle and sexual allure. Minaj revealed in a fan's Twitter Space conversation that Doja Cat's team had originally asked her to feature on the song. She passed on the collaboration because she didn't think she could bring anything unique to improve it, and there were too many middlemen involved. When Minaj asked Doja's people to send her another song, they never did. Minaj did previously collaborate with Doja Cat for the 2020 remix of Doja's "Say So" track. Their version climbed to the top of the Hot 100, earning both artists their first #1s. The song entered the singles chart worldwide after exposure on TikTok fueled an increase in streaming. Doja wrote the song with LA-based producer Ari "Y2K" Starace and Toronto-based beatmaker Sheldon Yu-Ting "Sully" Cheung. As well as producing this song, Y2K and Sully also helmed Doja's collaboration with Ariana Grande, "I Don't Do Drugs." Directed by Mike Diva (Lil Nas X, Run the Jewels), the video stars Doja's Planet Her alter ego, a commander of a spacecraft. When she receives a message from rival aliens telling her they've taken her cat named Starscream hostage, she sets off on a mission to rescue her feline pet. "Get Into It (Yuh)" soundtracked a 2021 Taco Bell ad. The commercial shows two convention-bound cosplayers, dressed as Marko from the comic series Saga, crossing paths on a subway platform. When the female cosplayer hears Taco Bell's signature bell chimes, she's compelled to visit the joint and get her Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito.
