“Real Spill” is the introductory track to Lil Baby’s third studio album, “It’s Only Me”. He begins the album by expressing that he has leveled up from street activity and is in a different mindset now. With business on his mind, he has been able to rearrange his life, change “for the better,” and spend lavishly, highlighting his cars and house features. More importantly, his mother never has to work. However, he recognizes that this process has been not been easy, describing it as “painful.” He’s had to cut out many people he could not trust, while many have seen him change and cannot relate to how he feels as he is “beyon they mental.” Aligning with the album title and the notion that he is focused on himself, he strongly believes that “if I keep goin', I’ll be the greatest.” This track sets up the album theme and his current mentality that he is striving for greatness, no matter the past that he has had.
