Spanish singer Rosalía and Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro first went public with their romance in September 2021 with photos of the two celebrating Rosalía's 29th birthday together. Their shared love lives transitioned into a fruitful studio session, which resulted in their EP, RR. "Beso" is the record's lead single. "Beso" finds Rosalia and Alejandro pouring their hearts out about being in love and missing each other because of their busy careers. The old-school reggaeton beat and sentimental R&B vibes perfectly match their unique styles - they've both made a name for themselves with killer singles in this genre. "Beso" is Spanish for kiss, and it comes from the first line in the chorus where Rosalia claims another kiss from Rauw. They co-produced it with Noah Goldstein and Sir Dylan. Both producers worked on Rosalia's Motomami album, including the singles "La Fama," "Saoko" and "Despechá." The two producers played most of the instruments: Sir Dylan: synthesizer, bass guitar and piano. Goldstein: synthesizer and drums. Cuban percussionist Abraham Mansfaroll performed the percussion. He has contributed to the recording of many albums under various labels in Cuba, France and Brazil. The video sees Rosalía and Alejandro hanging out in different places, like the beach, city, studio, and bed. At the end of the visual, Rosalía flashes a diamond ring on her left hand and gets all emotional before smooching her new fiancé.
