"You get over it and then you try to figure out all the things that are unique about you and you pursue that, and then probably in five months you have a breakdown about something else," said Charli. Notably, Lorde expressed admiration for Brat, posting on Instagram that it's the "only album I've ever pre-saved" and that it's an honor "to be moved, changed, and gagged by her work." This collaboration fulfills Charli's original prophecy: "One day we might make some music. The internet would go crazy." And indeed, the internet went.
