Ice Spice

Bronx rapper Ice Spice brings slick flows and abundant attitude on powerful drill beats. She started rapping in 2021 and was signed with Virgin subsidiary label 10K Projects the next year on the strength of her viral track "Munch (Feelin' U)." Ice Spice was born Isis Gaston and grew up in the Bronx. She enjoyed rap growing up, but didn't start rapping herself until her early twenties when she began collaborating with producer Cook Babes while they both were attending SUNY Purchase. Babes produced Ice Spice's debut song, "Bully," which was released in early 2021. Her breakthrough track "Munch (Feelin' U)" arrived in August of the next year, and was lauded by Drake, who played the song on his Sirius XM radio channel. The song went viral, and Ice Spice inked a deal with 10K Projects. Her next single, "Bikini Bottom," was released in September 2022.
