An official music video to accompany the song was directed by Arrad and released on September 19, 2025.[10] American actor Don Benjamin appears in the video as Cardi B’s love interest.[11] In the video, Cardi and Benjamin are depicted starting a family together.[12] However, his secret activities strain their relationship, resulting in Cardi B's increasing sense of isolation during her pregnancy. After a climactic argument, Benjamin leaves the house but returns to find his lover murdered
"ErrTime" is Cardi B in full sass mode. She raps about stealing men, sipping champagne with her beautiful friends, and doing it all with the kind of self-assured sparkle that makes you remember why "I Like It" wasn't just a song title, but a lifestyle. The title, "ErrTime," might look like a typo, but this is Cardi, so nothing is accidental. The spelling is her phonetic take on "every time," following a long hip-hop tradition of spelling words the way they sound in the mouths of the people who coined them. Think Nelly's "Errtime" from 2005 or "Hot In Herre," which caused middle school English teachers to weep quietly into their red pens. It's a way of saying: language belongs to the streets first, and the dictionary second. Placed 16th on her second album, Am I the Drama?, "ErrTime" arrives once the record has lifted from introspection into full-throttle bravado. The album, sprawling across 23 tracks, is half heartbreak confessional, half diamond-studded vengeance. "ErrTime" lands firmly in the latter category - it's Cardi's way of saying: "Yes, I'm the drama - and I look amazing doing it." Cardi co-wrote the song with her longtime collaborator Pardison Fontaine, the New York-born partner-in-rhyme who helped pen "Bodak Yellow" and "WAP," and "Up." Also on the writing team is Javaan Anderson, whose credits include GloRilla and Cardi B's "Tomorrow 2" and GloRilla and Sexyy Red's "Whatchu Kno About Me." Production duties went to DJ SwanQo and Sean Island, two names that practically define the Am I the Drama sound. They handled more than half the album's beats. Five days after the release of Am I the Drama?, Latto posted an Instagram Story that read, "Latto is the drama," teasing what fans correctly guessed was a remix. That same day, Cardi released Am I the Drama? (ErrTime Edition), including a new version of "ErrTime" with Latto stepping in for the second verse. Cardi B and Latto previously worked together on the remix of Latto's 2023 song "Put It On Da Floor Again," which was certified Platinum in the US.
